Hi Liz, the adorable gentleman at the bottom is Rudolph Valentino. The fascinating looking gent above him is the fabulous Conrad Veidt. He was a German actor who starred in films such as Casablanca, The man who laughs, The cabinet of Dr. Caligari, Dark Journey, All through the night, The thief of Baghdad and many others. He spoke out against the Nazi's, donated a lot of money to the British war effort and starred in one of the first gay rights films, making him a hero in my eyes. By all accounts he was an extremely sweet and witty man.
