There are a few actors where I would say, it doesn't matter how awful the film they are appearing in is they always give good performances. Dwight, of course, is one but I also have to admit I am a fan of Denholm Elliot. I am watching Bangkok Hilton, an early mini-series with Nicole Kidman and Elliot plays her father. He was wonderful in many TV shows and films, including "Trading Places" and his work with Dennis Potter, even his very brief, sinister role in the 60's classic "Alfie" is memorable. Of course to me, his best performance was as Marcus Brodie in the Indiana Jones films, especially in "The Last Crusade".

I've seen him in Indy and Alfie. He is an amazing talent- always polished and right on with his performance. I can definitely see why you're a fan!
