I just heard on the news that Peter Falk has passed away. I just adored his Lt. Columbo. He will be sorely missed.

I heard about this too- he was in so many great films and yes, who could ever forget Columbo. I will definitely miss him. When is modern medicine going to stop death? I mean, why do we have to keep putting up with this and acting like it's normal and we're weird if we don't like it or think it's okay? Sorry to get philosophical, but I am tired of death already.

I loved the original Columbo's and still make a point of watching them when they are broadcast, even though I may have seen an episode several times before. Peter Falk's performance was so good and believable, he'll be much missed.

He was a great artist I agree. How can we ever forget Lt. Frank Columbo. It's interesting that Columbo's first name is never mentioned on the show. Even in the credits it's given as Lt. Columbo. However, in a few of the episodes you get to see his badge and i.d. card which clearly shows the signature "Frank Columbo". In the days before VHS you had to be very quick to see it.
