(I love how you Aussies and Brits say on holiday(s). We go on vacation. We only get holidays at Xmas or one day at a time.)

My sister and I have always been fans of British television, so we're a little more "up" on Anglicisms than are most of us Yanks.
We've also watched a lot of Australian TV recently and are developing a new (passive) vocabulary.
I like Aussies a lot. There are a lot of similarities in the history of our two countries (and, of course, a lot of differences). I hope to visit there some day.
