[candle=ID,Dwight] I just wanted to say that despite all the changes happening in the forum this community was started for Dwight and we shall never forget that and this board shall always keep his memory alive.

Everybody here called the pres "Ike", which is less of a mouthful than Dwight David Eisenhower. BTW, a lot of the ladies on the Lorrelist are devotees of Mssrs. Fry(e), Dwight and Stephen.

Dwight is such an American sounding name. I know of only one British person called Dwight, then of course there's Reg Dwight but obviously that is a surname.
I know a couple of the ladies that like Dwight, as well as Stephen F.
I like a show called QI that Stephen Fry presents here. It's a panel show full of useless information, don't know if it broadcast in the US. I remember he has mentioned Peter on one episode, but I couldn't find it.
Here's a clip of Stephen doing his Peter Cushing, Christopher Lee and Vincent Price impersonations.

And our public stations (PBS) show a lot of British progs as well, especially the comedies, period dramas and mysteries. I've seen a few episodes of Q and I did enjoy them. I'm also fond of Graham Norton (and have been since Father Ted). He's a real pisser--Irish, like my grandparents. I like car shows but I have a tough time with Top Gear. Mostly it's the hosts who get on my nerves. Actually, I'd better put a sock in it or I'll go on about Brit shows all night.
