Who do you guys think would be perfect to play Dwight in a bio pic about his life?

The only one that leaps to mind for me is Peter MacNicol. He did a fabulous tribute/impersonation of Dwight in the Mel Brooks film Dracula: dead and loving it.

Peter Macnicol is a great choice.
I remember a similar discussion elsewhere and I seem to remember a couple of people thinking David Hyde Pierce resembled Dwight.
I'm not sure who could play the role though.

I think Brad Douriff would be good. People have said he's like the modern day Dwight Frye as far as the roles he's played.

I've always liked Brad Dourif. I think he's a wonderful and very versatile actor.

Wow, they all sound like good choices ! I read somewhere that someone suggested Michael Fassbender for a biopic too.

Michael Fassbender is probably the most realistic choice because he is young enough. Most actors I think of are actually quite a bit older than Dwight when he died. Fassbender is very now, a good actor, if a bit too tall to play Dwight.

Now that you mention it, I remember Brad Dourif in ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST and I loved his Billy Bibbitt. He is very Dwight-like.

I remember someone also suggested the guy who played Percy in The Green Mile. I'm not exactly a fan of him though and he's another one who is now too old.

I checked out the guy. Doug Hutchison. I can see what they meant, and I personally don't think he's too old. I'd consider someone to be too old to be playing Dwight if they were in their 70's or above that.
