Unless the bedroom scenes were cut out, and he just stuck to the other stuff .

Then again, he would have made a very good Q .

I would start laughing ridiculously if I heard Dwight say, "Oh, grow UP, 007!"

*pokes thread with a stick* Is it dead? Oh well, I'll post anyway.
I agree that Dwight would have made a fantastic Doctor. I personally see him as a combination of Three, Four, Seven and Ten.
Also, I think he could have been an excellent Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde.

I agree that Dwight could have explored the more classic horrors with Dr Jekyll and Hyde, though Frederick March did an amazing job. I also wish he got the opportunity to play Dorian Gray as was proposed at one time, with his youthful, chrub face he would have been perfect.

I think Dwight should be in The Artist. No disrespect to Jean Dujardin, he is SEXY, but I think Dwight would be cool.
Also, Dwight should be Don Lockwood in Singin' in the Rain, and maybe Jerry Mulligan in An American in Paris!

Last night I finished reading "I Capture The Castle" by Dodie Smith. I'm still floating on a cloud of loveliness from the whole thing, though the end is quite moving. It's set in Thirties Britainand focuses on an impoverished family living in a castle and the impact two American brothers has on them. Anyway, having read this I REALLY see Dwight as Simon. I don't know if anyone else has read this and if they have they might not agree.
I watched the 2003 film and didn't like the way the character was portrayed. It's not that Henry Thomas does a bad job, it's just that a combination of the writing and direction means that a lot of the characterisation is just wrong.
BUT reading the book, I just kept seeing Dwight.

I don't remember where this was originally brought up, but someone once said that Dwight would have been the perfect Joker, had they made Batman movies in the 30s. I totally agree with that. As for other members of the Rogues Gallery, I can easily imagine him as The Scarecrow or Mad Hatter.

It's on a BAtman Art website and the piece is called "Two-face Dwight Frye"
