Dwight Frye's 112th. Birthday is coming up on February 22nd. and I was interested to know if anyone is planning anything special for the occassion? As always I am planning to create a video tribute, and I will probably bake him a cake as well. Hey, it may sound a bit crazy, but anything to honor Dwight is a good idea by me, and besides it gives me another excuse to eat cake:)
I'd like to do something in addition to what I already have planned, as I have been doing pretty much the same thing every year. However, I have no idea what else I could do.
I'll also be leaving flowers and a message at "Find a grave" too. If anyone else is interested in doing this the link is available here at the forum under the thread "Dwight Frye On-line".

You always make such an effort for Dwight's birthday. I DID try and set off chinese lantern when it was his 110th (blimey that was 2 years ago) but it was very windy and I nearly set fire to myself, lol. I'll do the usual and leave a tribute at find-agrave and light a candle. Incidently Brenda L, have you ever gone to Find-a-grave and left a tribute to Peter?

I wish that I could come up with something new other than the cake/tribute video bit, like your lantern two years ago, but I am hopeless when it comes to fresh ideas sadly.

Okay so there is just NO excuse for not realizing that Feb 22 hasn't happened yet....except that I have been in another country for the last week and a half and spent the entire time confused about the day and time it was back home. I think I'll bake a cake as well, i can't think of anything else I can do plus I want cake but as my baking skills are dismal this maybe a decision I regret.

Oh if you do I'd LOVE to see a picture if you'd like to share. The batteries in my camera are totally dead and I don't know if I'll be able to run to the store and pick up some more in time, but I'll try. I'd hate to not have a picture to share, but even if I don't I am still baking the cake anyway. I do every year as Dwight deserves it and it is a good excuse for cake:)

I'm sorry to say that this is my first birthday tribute to Dwight. I have alot of missed birthdays to make up for  I couldn't think of anything to do but leave a tribute at Find A Grave and Light a Candle. I would bake a cake but I can't cook!!! |
