I've never been lucky or wealthy enough to purchase any autographs or original photographs of Dwight and was just wondering if anyone on the board has.
My Fritz and Renfield dolls have been my most extravagent purchases I'm afraid.

I have the two figures that you mentioned as well as most of his films. I also have his biography of course, and some photographs, but they are reproductions- not original. Most of my memorabilia has come by way of creativity i.e. I have made Dwight t-shirts, worked on home-made Dwight scrapbooks, etc. It would be lovely to own an autograph or something that is original, but like you I could never really afford it!

I think I saw this but just presumed it was the sideshow figure though they are some striking differences now I look at it closer. It is pretty pricey though it's nice to see another figure of Fritz available. I wish they were more but I think their not as popular as they were about ten years ago. We managed to get various figures from films, comic etc but the store we got them from closed down and they seem to be rarer online.

I wish that Sideshow would have done other Dwight inspired figures like Herman (even though that isn't Universal) or Karl or Rudi. I would have loved a Rudi figure. They did Lugosi from "The Wolfman" and his part was relatively small in that film, so I think that they could have done Rudi:) I agree though that the market just doesn't seem to be there, but it would have been nice.

Good statue. High price Of course I know those are very highly collectable though. Just out of curiousity, what is the most expensive piece of memorabilia you have ever purchased? Mine was a statue of Lady Death. Don't ask.

My Renfield and Fritz dolls were quite pricey because I had to pay export tax, as well as P&P and the actual dolls themselves. I have considered bidding on the odd autograph when it rarely appears but I think my hubby would kill me.

When I liked "The Beatles" a lot- way back in the days of yore- I spent quite a bit of cash. I spent fifty dollars for a music box that played "All my loving" and forty dollars for one book written by Paul McCartney's brother Michael. It may not seem like a lot to most people, but it was to me considering that I was only about fourteen at the time. Other than this I can't say that I ever spent extravagant amounts of cash on my interests. I either never had the money to do so, or else I just couldn't find a lot to buy.
Dwight for instance- there isn't a lot of memorabilia out there, other than the odd photograph or the Sideshow dolls.

BTW Luna a Rudi doll would be very cool, a mature, handsome Dwight with a pipe and in traditional a Vasarian costume I would love a Vindecco doll (obviously) and a Herman (bat included of course)

The most I paid was $200 for a DVD set featuring John Lydon AND I paid for airfare and three concert tickets to see him perform in England. In fact I am STILL paying for that (credit)

To be fair, John Lydon would be good in concert plus he doesn't tour that often. Though I am slightly mystified as to why he's now doing butter adverts here... I swear this is true.

I love MANY of the stills, but as always, it pains me that the people that make the dolls just can't seem to ever capture the face. I have found that is true in nearly EVERY collectable I have bought. Except maybe the Jim Morrison figure. Sigh. Of course I often STILL buy them.

I couldn't agree more. The faces are NEVER that accurate, and they completely missed on Dwight's hair color and eye color here, but this is of course as close as we will ever get. Most fandoms that I have enjoyed are not popular enough to warrant figures. The Beatles had them, and the faces there were a bit better than average, but still not spot on. Dwight has them, and Star Wars of course, which I spent a bit of time obsessing over, but the features on those figures- ALWAYS terrible for the most part. Ditto with The lord of the rings.
