I agree Leah. I love Benny and Joon too. Johnny Depp is gorgeous and his Buster Keaton was awesome. I'm a big Buster fan too ;D

Okay, the one that does it for me is The Sheik, with Rudolph Valentino (although I like to imagine Dwight in that role *FAINTS*). I also like Son of the Sheik, and Jean Cocteau's Beauty and the Beast (1946). I hate to admit this to you but I've never seen a Valentino film I know I should as I really love early cinema and everytime I go to the bathroom at my parents house and there is a poster of Son of the Sheik on the wall and I think, I really need to get around to watching a Valentino film but never do. Will make a point of watching one as soon as possible. TCM had several of Rudolph's films on a few weeks ago. They'll probably have it again, as the anniversary of his passing is coming up August 23rd.

Excellent choices Monk's Moll! You cannot go wrong with Valentino! Thank you Luna ! Rudolph really was a very good actor, he took it seriously and it shows in such films as The Conquering Power and Beyond the Rocks. He wasn't just a handsome face. Yet I still think Dwight would have made a great Sheik too !

Another film I love is Return to Glennascaul with Orson Welles. It's a short film, but the ultimate in *Andrew Zimmern voice* spooky ghosty goodness. It's shot in black and white, and it's subtlety gives one chills down the spine. I first saw it on vhs, and found the full twenty something minute version on YT *thumbs up* .

Okay, correction...the twentysomething version of Return to Glennascaul is no longer on YT, but they do have it in parts .

Just one more to add, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. Excellent film, and Sean Connery can still kick some serious behind there, as well as looking smoking hot !

Sean is terrific, one of my favorites. I'm a huge James Bond fan, so of course I love him in those.

Pretty much anything with Rudy Valentino. The Eagle is one of my favourites and this scene from Cobra gets me every time...

Anything with Gene Kelly! Or Donald O'Connor!
