It has been suggested to me that a Book board would be a nice idea for our forum. This is something I would be interested in, but as I don't want to go the effort to create a new board and then be posting stuff alone. I wanted to see how popular an idea this would be with the other members and if it would be used.
Also I would like to take the opportunity to once agin ask if anyone else has any suggestions to improve the board, please do not hesitate to contact me either privately or on the forum.

Yes MM. Basically tell s what book you are reading and then a review or a few words to say why you think it's a good read.

I got one reccomendation: A Clockwork Orange.
The best novel I've ever read up to this point, and my favorite! A definite read!

I have been reading The Cat Who mysteries by the late, great Lilian Jackson Braun. Excellent stories involving a journalist named Qwilleran, who also solves mysteries with a little assistance from his siamese cats Koko and Yum Yum . I also recommend the Church Choir Mysteries...it has quite a bit of spirituality in it (it's from Guideposts), but I personally find it a great read .

I have one great book at home. It's a bigoraphy written by Forrest J. Ackerman on Lon Chaney Sr. It's called Lon of 1,000 Faces. Awesome biography on one of the world's most talented actors ever!

I have that book too on Lon. They have some amazing photos in there. Many I've never seen before.

Love the photos of Lon from A Blind Bargain, where he plays this ape man type character. Looks so weird.
I'm planning on getting Ron Chaney and his two daughters to sign it at the next Monster Bash.

I heard about this in the news the othert day, thought you might be interested. I have to admit I was rolling my eyes until I realised Burgess did this for a particular reason. www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-18638173
