Very nice shots Mrs. V. And I agree that they aren't seen on-line that often. Most of these came from the now archived official site correct?

Great pics! I would...well, I'll just keep that to myself. Also, why is the site now archived? Dwight should have his own official page!

That archived page was hopping back in the day. For a couple of years there it was constantly updated. When Dwight D. Frye passed it slowly faded away and was eventually archived. I wish it would come back online actively.

Yes it's from the archived site. I learnt a long time ago that if you ever see any new Dwight information or photos to taker a copy because it can suddenly disappear. It seems that many Dwight communities are active and then suddenly become reduntant, the yahoo one, the LJ, the facebook one isn't as active any more, though youtube still has Dwight followers. However it does seem sad that the official page was abandoned.
I don't want to sound big headed but I wanted to start this forum because I wanted to do my bit to remember Dwight and keep some active online following. I used to make videos but I can't do that now so I thought this was the next best thing.

You don't sound big headed at all Mrs. V! In fact, my aim was very similar when I created my "You Tube" page, and later my Ning community, which sadly had to close because they began to charge a ridiculously high fee to belong there. This board is excellent, and the most active community for Dwight to date. You have done a wonderful and amazing job!
I do much the same- try to save everything that I come across, because it is true that you never know when it will disappear. I even saved the text from the archived official site, because at times it has gone down, and I fear that one day it may no longer be there even in archived form. I hope that will never happen, but you never know.

You are not big-headed, Mrs. V! This site is amazing!
Also, Dwight looks like William Shatner in Star Trek in that last photo.

Hey Liz, just imagine Dwight saying "Beam-me-up-Scotty!" And in a nonchalant voice, "There is no intelligent life on this planet." ;D

Lovely photos Mrs V! Does anyone know anything about this one?? Apparently it's Dwight in the Stan Laurel short 'Hustling for health' in 1919.
