The following images are of the missing footage of Dwight's performance in "Bride of..."
I scanned these from the baseball cards and for the benefit of those that don't have the set I thought I would copy some of the information on the back.
In Dwight's original initial appearance in the film. Pretorious is pitching his proposal to the young Baron when Karl enters. He is carrying what may be a drinking vessel. Perhaps he's been drinking? This is only a guess. "You hangman's fodder!" an incensed Pretorious scolds. "How dare you? How many times have I told you never to come into this room?" Karl attempts to explain his intrusion. "I only want to ask..." But before he can finish his sentence, the easily irritated doctor has a suggestion, "GET OUT!"
A scene which finds Minnie and Karl confronting Burgomaster over the loose monster.
Gutter rats will be gutter rats and Karl is one speciman who isn't going to waste the opportunity to make a few dollars when one presents itself. Believing he can blame any ill that befalls the village on the Monster. Karl spies his Uncle Glutz counting his money in his room and promptly chokeholds the old boy towards even higher rewards. Karl then helps himself the the (now available) earthly rewards at hand. What a hit this killing might have proved for Karl (and for Dwight)had it survived in the film's final version. And Karl wasn't through yet?
Having forwarded Uncle Glutz to the great village in the sky (and presumably exiting thrugh the window) what might our rat in residence do next? What else but go round to the front door and visit the lovely Auntie Glutz! "Not one penny do you get!" Auntie informs Karl at the front door. "Joseph!" she calls into an empty room. "That good-for-nothing nephew is here again. Don't give him any more money!" Well, Auntie Glutz soon discovers the late Joe Gutz and while screaming, "The Monster! The Monster's been here!" Karl remarks, "Very convenient to have a monster around. This is quite a nice cottage. I shouldn't be surprised if he visited Auntie too!" How could they cut this stuff?
