The first one needs to be in the Dwight calendar. AHHHH!!! I saw this on the Classic Horror Film Board and loved it:

I love Karl. He's adorably grotesque.

On the poster, in the bottom right... I know that is suopposed to be the Doc with Pretorious but fascially I don't think it looks like Colin Clive. Am I right or is it just my increasingly bad eyesight?

I think that may be just you, Mrs. V. I think he looks like Clive. Or maybe we're both wrong.

Maybe it's just a bad angle for him. Colin Clive was handsome at times, though I'm not mad on his nose and in this picture the nose is very similar.

It still blows my mind that under all that make-up is our own sweet Dwight!

Another thing I love about Karl is the skate. I didn't notice until quite a few viewing of the film. It's just subtly there without anyone mentioning it and to think poor Dwight had to stomp about with that thing on.

I always wondered if the skate was more explained in the uncut version, or if it was just something Dwight found in the costume department and came up with himself. I could see James Whale saying, "Sure, go for it!" I think he gave him more creative control than any director.
