I thought I would post this thread because today was the Grand National. I'm not really a fan of racing, too many horses killed and I don't gamble. Also I am teeny bit wary of horses though my sister had one for years. However I have fond memories of this film. I don't think it really matters if you like horses or don't, it's pure fairy tale, a MGM technicolor fairy tale at that and it's no wonder that Elizabeth Taylor grew up to become an even bigger star. It's been too long since I watched this.

I liked it though I was probably to young at the time to completely grasp it all. I'll have to watch it again some time.
