If you could have, which play of Dwight's would you have liked to see the most? For me it's a toss up between "Mima" and "A man's man". Mima because the stage must have been spectacular to see and the plot seemed incredibly surreal- unlike anything that you're likely to see on Broadway now. And A man's man because it was his strongest role on Broadway from all accounts, and his performance must have been incredibly powerful.

I would like to have seen A Man's Man for the simple reason it was obviously the one that seemed to really turn him into a Broadway star and from the reviews he obviously excelled in it. Out of curiousity I wouldn't miind seeing Sitting Pretty to hear him sing or Rita Coventry to hear Dwight on the piano.

Oh yes, I had forgotten all about Sitting pretty! I would have loved to see Dwight sing and dance. I do know that the review of his dancing skills was excellent. His stage work was so diverse and had so much depth. It's difficult to choose just one show.

I would have loved to have seen The Pursuit of Happiness in which Dwight and Laura played the young lovers Max and Prudence.

Mima all the way. Puppets would be fantastic, since he played the piano in that one as well.

Mima, and The Queen's Husband. I would have loved to see Dwight in that uniform, and hear him speak with a Teutonic accent .

The Pursuit of Happiness is an excellent pick, limey! How great would that be to see Dwight and Laura together on stage ?

I would've liked to see him in the revival of Dracula in 1941.

I would've liked to see him in the revival of Dracula in 1941. According to DFLL, he seems to have been the only good thing about that production.

It'd be even better to see him and Lugosi together doing Dracula on stage. What a night that would be!!!
