A brilliant video by the fabulous British make-up artist, Lisa Eldridge. It's about the history of beauty from the Victorian era to the 1930s. It includes lots of fascinating facts, anecdotes and gorgeous products.

Another lovely video by Lisa Eldridge, featuring some rare vintage make-up. I have always adored the elegant, ornate compacts ladies used to use. It's sad that they have mostly been relegated to the past.

Really interesting videos. She has an amazing collection. The packaging is gorgeous. I'm surprised that some of the more expensive cosmetic manufacturers don't make their packaging as gorgeous as this. The red make-up kit is very clever and seems such a modern idea. It just shows us that women had to look good on the go. I'll check out her other videos.

When a woman wants to make up with her husband she will make up a story about make up of her make-up. Phrasal verbs rule!
