What do you guys think of Creature from the Black Lagoon? I thought I'd ask this question because Monster Bash is coming soon.

To be honest, I think this is my least favourite of the Universal Monster films. I own it as part of a Universal collector's edition set with The Mummy (which I love) but I can't remember the last time I actually picked this film out of the box. Sorry, it's just not really my cup of tea. I recently read that a Universal remake of the film is on the way and will be out next year.

It's honestly one of my favorites of Universal Monster movies. Creature and The Wolf Man are my two favorite Universal monsters ever!
But to each his own. Or her own in this case. lol

I feel bad about admitting this, but I've never seen it. I don't ever remember it on TV when I was younger and later when I've seen the DVD because I know it's from the later Universal period, not so much the classic, golden, 30's, gothic, era I've never felt the need to. I really should make the effort to watch it at some point though.

Recently got back from Monster Bash in Butler, PA. Met Julie Adams and Ricou Browning. Julie was such a sweetheart; what a delight. And Ricou seemed very nice and cool.
