Review from my blog: psychowardmoviereviews.blogspot.com/2011/06/haxan-witchcraft-through-ages-1922.htmlThis movie is wicked scary. I'd recommend it, but only if you're not scared easily or a devout religious person. As I say in my review, I'm a devout Catholic, and I'm not sure if this movie scares me because it challenges my faith greatly, or whether it's just doing what a horror film should do. I don't know. You watch it and make the call. Just don't watch it if you're home alone and it's dark out; I would say that this film and Nosferatu have given me some wicked bad dreams. Enjoy, if you dare...

I've never heard of this Liz but it sounds interesting and the fact you found it scarier than Nosferatu, intrigues me. I'm not religious (though I wouldn't say I'm a non-believer) but different beliefs always interest me and though I am cynical about a lot of things... certain aspects about the occult make me feel uneasy. I am going to ask my hubby to download it... but whether I watch it or not is another question.
Good review as always.

I've seen parts of this film Liz, and I agree that it can definitely leave you uneasy. This was an excellent review, and one day I do hope to watch the entire film from beginning to end, if I get the nerve to do so that is:)

Thank you, Luna. I've never been able to watch it all the way through, and I don't think I ever will be able to. :/

Yep, he is... seriously there are a few members that can verify that. Though knowing Toto he probably chose that moment to demand biscuits or something!
